definitelynotscottHello, Friend! Do not feel bound by this letter as these are only suggestions. I'm sure I will love whatever you create! However, in case you are feeling lost and directionless in the pursuit of what to produce for someone you don't know very well, I have taken the time to write some things out that will hopefully serve as a compass to point you North. :D
General Likes
Relationships
Positive family interaction (blood relatives or found family, both equally enjoyed).
Friendships! I love friends supporting each other or just having fun together.
And of course romance is also good!
(Though I guess specifying those three really doesn't narrow it down that much for you, LOL.)
Tropes and Things
Cultural Conflict! This is one that I really enjoy. I love seeing assumptions come back to bite people, I love seeing people explore their differences, I love seeing people connect through their similarities or despite their differences.
Soulmates! Especially if there's a... rocky start. Like one person not acknowledging it, or (for words) having something bland and unrecognizable or incredibly offensive. I don't think it's physically possible for me to get enough platonic soulmates either, so that's an option.
Recently I'm really into arranged marriages for some reason. 300-1000 words seems a little small for that to play out, but if you're interested in a speedrun... XD
Established relationships are an old favorite. It's so nice to see that the long haul can be just as exciting and relevant as getting together. I don't know if people think of this trope being used platonically, but seeing a pair or a team working together so smoothly that they don't even have to communicate verbally is something I love so I'm putting it under this heading.
I like to laugh, sometimes at the suffering of fictional characters, but I lean more towards fluff on both the fluff/angst axis and the fluff/smut axis.
General Dislikes
Some of these are probably covered by my selected rating, but just to be clear I don't like incest, infidelity, torture/gore, death, rape/non-con, mind control, mental collapse/breakdown, teacher/student, that first-time trope where they say "Make me a woman!" (though inverting/subverting it would be funny!), the implication that kindness/optimism=stupidity/naiveté, the assumption that any friendship between different genders will devolve into romance.

I am completely uninterested in the new lore, old lore only please.
My favorite character is Lux Crownguard and you can scroll my tumblr tag to get an idea of how I see her/what I like about her.
I'd love to see some Lux & Garen family stuff, or the Du Couteaus (Katarina, Cassiopeia, & Talon).
If you're in the mood to provide friendship content I'd love to see the Janna & Lux & Ezreal BroT3 or either of them singly with Lux.
For romance I usually pair Lux with Talon or Darius, especially with fun cultural elements (I personally love to make up outrageous customs for Demacia or Noxus and then explore how the other partner reacts to them.)
Shadow Unit
I'd love to see some found family content for Worth, Gates, and Villette. But Esther with her daughters, or Reyes and Autumn would also be great.
If you wanted to write something set after the original works I’d love to see something with Nikki in her new role. And if you want to explore something from the other side of the team Natalie Summers-Barrington, Susannah Greenwood, or Anna Krol (especially Anna Krol!) would be great to read about.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
I used to read their comics a lot, and while I haven’t recently, I have a decent understanding of the general Marvel Universe background, so if you want to branch out into different franchises or the comic-verse, go ahead!
Along those lines, I feel like Kitty Pryde hasn't been introduced in the main MCU verse??? Memory fuzzy. Anyway. I LOVE KITTY PRYDE so include her to your heart's desire without regard to the flimsy limitations of "canon" (IF your heart desires, that is XD ).
Some possible character combos for inspiration
Nota Bene: if you're going to include Wanda please use her comics backstory, not the movie backstory
Crack Option: Pepper Potts is related to the Potts family from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
And of course, feel free to browse previous letters if this big long thing isn't enough. XD

- The Power of Science and Anime on Our Side: Any combination of the science group and the agent group
- I mostly like everyone, so if I've forgotten to add someone and they're your favorite write me something about them and I'll love it.
